5 Years in the Making

Five years after purchasing the distinctive white-brick building at 1001 S. 38th Street, Tuan Nguyen, owner of Tacoma's popular La Cà Bar, is opening his third restaurant. La Cà 38th in the Lincoln District, featuring a delicious menu of noodle soups, Vietnamese street-food snacks, and a full bar. The Meaning of La Cà

In 2018 aspiring documentary student Edrick Wang produced a Documentary of Tuan Nguyen's first restaurant La Cà Bar on Tacoma's 6th Ave. This video is a behind-the-scenes look at La Cà Bar, a Vietnamese restaurant in Tacoma. The owner, Tuan, shares his passion for cooking and his vision for bringing authentic Vietnamese cuisine to Tacoma.
